Moving Bodies follows the story of one brave man, Bernard Roberts, turning from soldier to grave digger in the hope of giving his fellow fallen comrades a peaceful place to rest.
‘I suppose you could have called me the comedian of the company. How can you tell if a dog belongs to a Blacksmith….?’
‘….because when you tell him off, he makes a bolt for the door!
I didn’t say I was any good!’
Adapted from real life accounts, this one man show combines immersive story telling with a mix of trench humour, old war time songs and an original soundscape, to tell this darkly comic, touching story.

‘The story telling had me laughing one minute and blinking away the tears the next. The acting, the set, the soundtrack…everything was brilliant. Thank you for telling this important story.’
